Dale Alton Hyatt was born Febrary 13, 1912 in Golden, Colorado and died in Denver, November, 2003. He graduated from South High School in Denver. Hyatt served in North Arfica and Europe in the 310th Air Service bomber group. The Dachau Concentration Camp was liberated by American troupbs on April 29, 1945. Luby Chevrolet, one of Colorado's oldest car dealerships, was started in 1920 in Denver, Colorado by Sam Luby, later joined by brothers Louis and Henry Luby. Joe Luby, who had worked at Luby Chevrolet from the bottom up, bought out his brothers in 1956. "Papa Joe" moved the dealership to Colorado in 1972.
